Linda Roper is a local Canon City and Beulah Artist. She is mostly
self-taught, and is always striving to improve and expand her knowledge. Linda has been painting for over 30 years using a variety of mediums, including Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor and Pen & Ink.
Photography has also been a life long passion starting at a very early age. She has a line of cards using her photographs and prints of her paintings. Linda loves nature and wildlife and receives inspiration for her paintings from all creation.
Linda is a member of the Royal Gorge Artists Association, the Fremont Center for the Arts, Sangres Art Guild, the Artist’s Gallery and the Pueblo Art Guild. She has received numerous awards at art shows and exhibits.
Her work is on exhibit at the Fremont Center for the Arts gift shop, the Artist’s Gallery in Canon City and the Pueblo Gift Shop at the Sangre De Cristo Art Center. Linda has given private art lessons and also taught
Art at Calvary Christian School for a number of years.
